The service here is fantastic! Very accommodating, friendly, hospitable. The food is delicious! Granted, I kept it simple but sometimes simplicity is what you need. For those complaining about the CC tax, they have it stated on the front of their menu! It's not a surprise, it's printed in b&w. I'm new to the neighborhood but I can see myself coming back for another solo date! If you love an Aperol Spritz, order it. It's HUGE and perfectly balanced. Thank you Donatos!
Donato’s is a classic neighborhood Italian restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. We loved the crab cakes, eggplant rollatini, and linguine with white clam sauce. The professional wait staff is awesome and attentive. Great selection of wines and desserts too.
First of all excellent service !!! The waiter was amazing with checking in on us etc... On the other hand the food was perfect! The portions were good and it got me full. Price wise I think it’s affordable depending on what you order. My favorite dessert was the lemon sorbet. It was delicious and it was something that you just wanted more of. Overall I recommend this place to anyone that wants to dine in because it has both an excellent service and amazing food.
I’ve been here a few times. I came here for a big family dinner. Everyone in my family including the little ones enjoyed their food. The service was very friendly and professional. I had their pizza slices and they were very delicious. I definitely recommend this neighbor gem for their delicious dishes and drinks.
Staff was super welcoming and friendly. Vodka sauce was delicious even with my high standards as it's my favorite. Baked ziti was lovely. Fair beer prices. Atmosphere is so old school and cozy
Definitely a neighborhood favorite. I always get the pepperoni pizza, the pricing is decent for the quality and size. They also have great gelatos for summer, extremely refreshing taste.
This is a nice hidden gem located about an 8-minute walk north of the 7 train. The service and food are well worth it. I had the chicken parmesan with penne. That, and the bread with butter and olive oil, were awesome.
I had one of the best personal pizzas I’ve had in a while with fresh vegetables and toppings. Mike at the counter was really helpful and recommend what he thought would go good with the pizza and it came out amazing. As a treat, I bought the cherry Italian ice. For my first time at Donato’s, I see myself going back again and trying the other recommendations Mike gave.
